About us

An education is one of the most valuable things we can possess. It influences how we see the world and contribute to it, which is why it’s so important to choose the best school for your children.

As Abu Dhabi’s largest and leading education provider, Aldar Education aims to be your first choice. Starting with one school and 250 students in 2007, we’ve grown into a highly sought after education provider, supporting over 6,500 students across seven academies and one nursery in Abu Dhabi and one in Al Ain. With schools independently ranked by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), Aldar Education is the trusted name in educational excellence in UAE.

Working collaboratively, our education network’s purpose is to empower the next generation to shape our future, directly supporting the educational goals of Abu Dhabi’s government. Today, Aldar Education’ efforts are guided by the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 plan, which aims to build a sustainable knowledge-based economy through premium education.

To this end, Aldar Education has made a long-term investment of AED 1 billion into the capital’s education sector. These investments include the most advanced teaching technology, creative and sports facilities, as well as partnerships with industry leaders such as Microsoft. Aldar Academies’ billion-dirham investment has also seen the organization rapidly expand its influence to new areas of the sector, including mid-tier education, nurseries, and teacher training.

In May 2017, Aldar Education signed an agreement to manage the operations of four ADNOC Schools campuses in Abu Dhabi and across the Al Dhafra Region: Sas Al Nakhl Campus, Ruwais Campus, Madinat Zayed Campus, and Ghayathi Campus. The agreement now sees Aldar Education’ expertise reach close to 14,000 students and more than 2,000 staff.

Aldar Education’ expertise has seen its seven owned schools, which comprise primary and secondary academies, ranked from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’ by ADEK (Department of Education and Knowledge). Underpinning these ratings is an uncompromising approach to teaching that draws on the latest and most effective pedagogical techniques. A comprehensive Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programme ensures the education provider’s expert teaching cohort constantly learns and grows, to provide students with the most relevant education possible.

Taught in a stimulating, multi-cultural environment, students earn a future-focused education through a curricula focused on the STEAM skills (science, technology, engineering, art, and maths). This approach is found across the network, where the organization offers the English National Curriculum with an international dimension at six of its seven academies, and the American Massachusetts State Curriculum at Aldar Academies West Yas Academy.

Students perform at the very highest level, achieving exam grades that exceed global averages and securing places at the world’s leading universities. Aldar Academies also holds accreditation from a number of international educational bodies in support of its leadership position.

Aldar Education’ Academies are, at pre-school and primary level, The Pearl Academy and Al Muna Academy. Serving pre-school, primary, and secondary-age students are Al Ain Academy and Al Yasmina Academy, which operate from FS1 to Year 13. Al Mamoura Academy is a mixed primary and girls-only secondary school, while Al Bateen Academy welcomes secondary school students and offers the IB Diploma Programme in Years 12 and 13. West Yas Academy is the first of the organization’s institutions to teach the complete American Massachusetts State Curriculum – the most highly regarded curriculum in the United States.
